Next stages and further projects
The concept of the garden must be seen as an archaic map. It fosters a quest for self-realization through immersion into the artistic world and the universal themes within. Each sculpture is a site of self-discovery, and this discovery could be well amplified with relevant educational tools including :
The story of the work
The meaning of the work
The creative process of the work
The technique
From above, the path is drawn in the shape of an anchor. A symbol for a project tied to the environment
The full shape of the anchor is currently only recognizable from the air. Therefore, there is a project to frame the entire pathway with a low hedge. In this way it would stand out from the surrounding meadow for the viewer. At the same time, this type of hedges are reminiscent of the traditional French gardens that were typically part of castle gardens.

Invitation to remain in contemplation
adequate outside furniture :
The dimensions of the works is striking; to apprehend the complex meaning, you have to be able to contemplate them physically with no rush. The invitation to contemplate could be facilitated with fitting furniture like lounge chairs, picnic tables/mats, shade-covered benches for example.
THey cangive viewers the necessary space for thought wanderings about the meaning of Erich Engelbrecht’s work. The installation of this furniture and architecture should be done in accordance with the design of the garden and Engelbrecht’s original, outlined intentions of attracting the public interest.
