Access to the Chateau des Fougis park is available at any time during the official opening days and hours. It is essential to indicate your arrival time on the form below and to make the pre-purchase of your entry ticket.
Access to the property by car and parking are explained here. The purchase of the ticket implies acceptance of the internal regulations on this private property.
Alternatively and for special needs, you can currently arrange a visit by phone from Monday to Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm at 0470347030.
Visiting hours (by reservation only)
Summer season:
from 10 am to 1 pm – 2:30 pm to 6 pm, except on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
The park closes at 7 pm
Important note :
access to the Château des Fougis park is only authorized for those who have purchased a valid entry ticket !
The main alley is closed to all vehicles except for local services. Visitors’ vehicles have free access to the Parking via Route de Goyette, during their visit.
Rates
- € 7.50 – Regular rate
- € 6 – Reduced rate : 12 to 16 years old and groups (above 12 paid entires)
- Free – children under 12 accompanied by an adult
- + € 3 guided tour – p.p. supplement to be paid for the guided tour – (45 min approx.) – subject to confirmation of availability
A minimum of 4 paying visitors is required .
Groups (12 -30 paying visitors) :
- € 6 for all visitors above 12 years old
- the tour price stays at € 46
- Guided tour : please ask for availability by phone or in the form
Visits are organized under the patronage of the Heritage Foundation and with the support of the Allier department for the maintenance of cultural and historical heritage.
Payment methods
Online payment via credit card, PayPal, bank transfer. Payment through French checks on site also possible. Beneficiary is the SCI Les FOUGIS, owner of the Château des Fougis, in Thionne.
VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the General Tax Code
During the on-site control you will need to alternatively:
- present the PDF (downloaded in advance on your smartphone)
- present the printed tickets corresponding to your reservation time
It’s raining, I have a delay, what should I do?
Rescheduling or cancellation of your visit to another day entitling you to a refund of the paid price, is possible until the day before at 6 pm.

Commercial use of pictures taken on SCI grounds is not allowed. All public postings of the artworks are subject to authorization by the Engelbrecht heirs, owners of the property.
It is strictly forbidden for anyone to climb onto the sculpture bases or alter the works in any way. Children must remain under adult supervision at all times and must not wander off the public path. The meadows are not intended for walking. The owner bears no responsibility for accidents caused by uneven pathways;
Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a lead. Visitors are asked to keep the paths clear of rubbish;
